Eclipse in the Wheatbelt is an online support group for adults who have survived one or more suicide attempts.
The Eclipse support group offers a safe space to:
- Connect with people who have had a similar lived experience.
- Increase comfort with and ability to speak about the thoughts and feelings which lead to a suicide attempt.
- Increase coping skills in relation to suicidal thoughts.
The group members are supported by two highly trained and compassionate Lifeline WA facilitators, one lead facilitator and one peer facilitator who has their own lived experience of suicide. To learn more about the peer facilitator and their experience with Eclipse click here.
Information sessions and assessments will be taking place over the next three weeks. If you know someone that would be interested to participate in the program, please pass on this information and encourage them to make a referral ASAP so we can get the ball rolling for them.
The online referral form can be accessed via Eclipse Referral Form (jotform.com).
If you would like further information or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact eclipse@holyoake.org.au or visit the Lifeline or Holyoake website.
